Vacancy for the position of: Content Writer – Podcast Script and Social Media Content

Scenic Communication We are a 360-degree integrated Marketing communication company, our specialization is PR, Digital Communication, Corporate Communication, and Crises, we have a handle so far 250plus brands. We are launching our own Digital channel, and we are creating a team for our own podcast for which we require candidates.

Reports to: Strategist

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Content Writer specializing in podcast scriptwriting and social media content creation. As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for crafting compelling scripts for podcast episodes and developing engaging content for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong creative flair, exceptional writing skills, and a deep understanding of storytelling across different mediums.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear, engaging, and informative scripts for podcast episodes, ensuring content aligns with the podcast’s tone and objectives.
• Collaborate closely with podcast hosts, producers, and researchers to brainstorm ideas and develop content outlines.
• Research to gather relevant information and insights that enhance the quality and depth of podcast scripts.
• Edit and revise scripts as needed, incorporating feedback from team members and ensuring accuracy and coherence.
• Develop creative and compelling content for social media platforms (including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn) to promote podcast episodes and engage with our audience.
• Stay updated on industry trends and audience preferences to optimize content strategy and drive engagement on social media.
• Assist with other content creation tasks as needed, such as blog posts, newsletters, or promotional materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Master in history, public administration, political science and knowledge in Indian culture and civilization will be an added advantage
• Proven experience in writing, preferably with a focus on podcast scriptwriting and social media content creation.
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Creative mindset with a passion for developing innovative and engaging content.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and understanding of social media best practices.
• Experience with audio or video content production is a plus

Other Details:

•  Working days/ timings – Mon-Friday (10:00-7:00) & Alternate Saturdays

• Work from the Office. The office is in Goregaon East. Near Railway Station.

• Experience required – 4 to 5 years

• Salary Bracket – As per industry standard

• Immediate Joining preferred
