School Diary is an EdTech company based out of Pune. School Diary makes parent-school communication easy, engaging, and effective. SchoolDiary – is a mobile-first platform that enables parents to receive timely updates (school or class alerts, daycare updates, event reminders), to track child’s progress (activity pictures, homework, attendance reports), and to monitor child safety (bus tracker) while kids are in transit on their smartphone.

Communication Objective

As a communication and PR partner, our primary mandate was to inform and educate stakeholders about the brand offerings and drive brand credibility. As a start-up, attracting attention of investors was a vital growth curve for the company. Hence, positioning them as successful start-up with great growth potential was a key focus area from the time we got on board with the client. Another focus of our strategy was to drive thought leadership for the co-founders by establishing their deep domain expertise and increasing visibility for them. Riding on the versatility and impact of SaaS-based ed-tech across sectors, our main mandate was to push for presence and visibility for the spokesperson in mainline and financial media, apart from driving thought leadership in trade media.

Impact Achieved

Through content-driven PR tools like authored articles, opinion pieces and participation in industry trend stories, we created a strong brand positioning for School Diary promoting them as a transparent and streamlined communication platform for parents and teachers. From introducing the brand to creating a thought leadership within a span of 3 months, we were able to bring forth the brand in category A publications like Times of India, Hindustan Times, India Today etc with stand-alone articles. The consistent brand engagement for School Diary among media and influencers, paid off with regular media opportunities that we garnered, across trade and mainline publications. As an average every month, School Diary gets 8 to 12 coverage in the relevant publications
